NEW BLOG, NEW LAYOUT, NEW SHOW!!

So yesterday (Saturday) I finally taped the first episode of my show TAKE A BOW!!  It took some time to finally get it done, but it is in the can and it will debut here on the JUST A RIDE blog on Monday which will be Memorial Day.  I KNOW that everyone is off work that day so you better stop by and watch it and let me know what you think about it.  I'm glad that I will be off to spend some time resting!!

To celebrate the debut of the show I decided to change the layout of the blog.  It adds a bit more life to it which is what I want this blog to be about.  My life.  So hopefully everyone will enjoy it.

Friday night was my cousin Lindsey's graduation.  Below you will find a picture from her of all of us cousins!!  Enjoy and come back on Monday for the debut of TAKE A BOW.

Pray for the Chapmans

So as many of you know Christian artist Steven Curtis Chapman and his family have experienced a terrible tragedy this week.  

I was going to tape my first show for TAKE A BOW tonight, but decided that I should take this time to encourage anyone who is reading this to take a few moments and pray for Steven and his family.

  MARIA SUE CHAPMAN, DAUGHTER OF STEVEN CURTIS CHAPMAN, DIES IN ACCIDENT AT FAMILY HOME
  
  NASHVILLE, TN...5/21/08... At approximately 5pm on the afternoon of Wednesday May 21st, Maria Sue Chapman, 5 years old and the youngest daughter to Steven and Mary Beth Chapman was struck in the driveway of the Chapman home in Franklin, TN. Maria was rushed to Vanderbilt Childrens Hospital in Nashville, transported by LifeFlight, but died of her injuries there. Maria is one of the close knit family’s six children and one of their three adopted daughters.
  
  More than five years ago, Chapman and his wife MaryBeth founded The Shaohannah’s Hope Ministry after bringing their first adopted daughter, Shaohannah, home from China. The ministry’s goal is to help families reduce the financial barrier of adoption, and has provided grants to over 1700 families wishing to adopt orphans from around the world. Chapman is a five-time GRAMMY ® winner and 54-time Dove Award winning artist who has sold over 10 million albums and garnered 44 No. 1 singles.

We Love the Chapman Family

Please pray for this family.  In my opinion, children are one of the greatest gifts that God can bless us with.  They NEVER cease to amaze me when I am around them.  It is so heartbreaking to lose them.  My heart aches for this family.

The Wait Continues...

So I was going to tape the first show of TAKE A BOW this past Saturday and I couldn't because of technical difficulties, so I am going to hopefully do it this week sometime when I have some free time so that it can be up by the end of the week!!

I would say thanks for being patient but I'm not sure that anyone looks at this blog anyways LOL...

Almost There

My first week of work at Integrity is almost over.  I'll add more detail once it finally IS over.  

TAKE A BOW is going to end up debuting next week instead of this week.  I'm gonna tape the show on Saturday and then put it online next week sometime.  So keep checking back for it.
